New in 2023 and eagerly awaited, the Sur-Ron Storm Bee Enduro Homologated are 125 cm3 equivalent off-road electric motorcycles. True motocross, they are available in three versions: MX (not homologated) and homologated. The homologated versions are offered in two versions: “enduro” and “trail”. Presented here in their homologated versions, the Sur-Ron Storm Bee are accessible with the B license and the 7-hour training.

Sur-Ron takes it to the next level
Its manufacturer, Sur-Ron, is already known for its equivalent 50 cc electric motorcycles, such as the Sur-Ron Light Bee X or the Light Bee Off Road. Playful and light, on the road or off-road, they have never disappointed. Definitely sporty, off-road and cross-country, the Sur-Ron Storm Bee makes it easy to achieve any of the craziness that these thermal equivalents allow. It is as complete, powerful, responsive, flexible and reliable as you would expect to have a good time!
The Sur-Ron Storm Bee is available in two versions
The Sur-Ron Storm Bee is available in Trail or Enduro versions. The differences between the two models are exclusively in the tyres: the Enduro version is equipped with tyres that are primarily suitable for off-road use on non-greasy terrain, but can still be used on the road. On the Trail version, the tires will be mainly intended for road use but know how to retain a little off-road character. Apart from the tyres, the rest of the technical characteristics are strictly identical.
The Storm Bee is a motocross… Economic
The most important difference between a thermal motocross bike such as a KTM, Yamaha or Honda with the Sur-Ron Storm Bee are their engines… and their fuel. The Sur-Ron is equipped with a brushless electric mid-motor. The advantages of such an engine, both in daily use and off-the-beaten-track rides, are silence, extremely low operating and maintenance costs.
An electric enduro
True enduro thanks to its homologation, the Sur-Ron Storm Bee exempts its rider from all the engine maintenance related to its absence of moving parts. Here, there are no pistons or rings to check and change. No box oil. No candle. When it comes to the engine, it will not be useful to “count the hours”. Note that the Storm Bee has ABS. Its presence is naturally useful on the road, but more questionable in cross-country. With no exhaust fumes, this engine does not pollute, makes almost no noise and smells nothing. In the woods, riding on the handlebars means that you won’t disturb anyone. In both ordinary and intensive use, the chassis will require the same attention, the same time and the same tools as with a combustion engine. No more, no less.
110 km/h top speed
Liquid-cooled, the Sur-Ron Storm Bee’s controller and electric motor are capable of delivering up to 22.5 kWh. This places it in the family of (very) powerful electric motors. The maximum torque at the wheel is nearly 520 Nm. Its maximum speed is 110 km/h. Its manufacturer indicates that the 0 to 50 km is achieved in 1.8 seconds. The 0 to 80 km/h, 3.6 seconds. Plenty of fun!

A maximum range of 100 kilometers
The Sur-Ron Storm Bee battery has a capacity of 104V / 55Ah. It is equipped with Sony VTC6 lithium-ion cells. This battery has been designed for racing, for sports and for sensations. It has been designed and calibrated for this engine. The range, at 50 km/h on the road, and in realistic conditions, is 100 kilometers. Its charger is advertised to be able to recharge the battery in just over 4 hours. Note the presence of a USB port. This will allow you to charge your smartphone or GPS.
